Who we are
gregmanofficial.com is run by GregMan Official. Questions about your data: [email protected].
What we store when you make an account
- Your email address and the name you choose (optional).
- Your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash. We can never see it.
- The packs and games you save as favorites, and the games you wishlist.
- Reviews you post (your star rating, text and name) are shown publicly on the site. You can edit or delete them any time.
- Whether you want emails from us (only if you tick the box).
Why
To run your account, show your favorites and wishlist, and email you about things you asked for: confirming your email, resetting your password, game releases you wishlisted, and new packs if you opted in.
Who else handles it
Emails are sent through Brevo (an email service in the EU). Payments for tips are handled by PayPal on their own site. We never sell your data.
Other things the site uses
A login cookie keeps you signed in. The view counter and the "here now" counter use a random id that isn't linked to you. It's only stored as a scrambled code, for at most 2 days, so each visitor counts once per day. Download clicks are counted the same way. Searches on the site are counted as plain words (what was searched and how often), never linked to who searched. Videos are loaded from YouTube when you press play.
Affiliate links
Some links to apps and gear I use are affiliate links. If you buy something through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only count how often each link is clicked, not who clicked.
Forms
If you send a business inquiry or a bug report, we keep what you wrote and the email you gave so we can reply. Requests you post on the request board are shown publicly with your name, like reviews, and you need an account to post or vote.
Your rights
You can change your settings or delete your account and everything linked to it at any time on your account page. You must be at least 13 to make an account.
